The Pilgrim Way to Santiago spreads about 800 km along northern Spain from Pyrenees to the Atlantic Coast, from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela. The most important towns in the „Camino“ are Burgos and León. Among Pyrenees in the east and the green western Galician mountains, you will find from churches to monasteries, fields and vineyards, mountains and castles, palaces and hermitages which transmit a special feeling of spirituality, self-analysis and meditation. Every stone, every “cruceiro“, every bridge breathe history.
